Fathers day and goodbye

This past weekend we made our last visit to my parents home in Maine. It was bittersweet. We are so happy they are moving away from the cold winters and closer to my sister, but we will miss them terribly. There will be lots of trips to Texas in our future!
We also went to celebrate Fathers day and two of the most amazing men in my life. I have been blessed with a Father whom loves and supports me. He has been there for me each step of the way, providing wisdom and encouragement. I am so thankful that God chose him as my Father.

We also celebrated my husband, the Father of my children. When I met and fell in love with Ted I saw qualities in him that I thought were the markings of a great father. I have learned over the past 20 months that I was right! He is so kind and loving to our son. He has so much patience where I lack. I am so excited to see him with our daughter in a few months!

I am one lucky girl :-)

Helping Around the House

Teddy has formed a love for helping in any way around the house.
He wants to sweep....

He wants to mow the lawn (just like his big cousin Ben)

And he has even found an activity that cultivates his love for water

This is the face he makes when he says "cheese"

In an attempt to get the water can away from Teddy, Ted filled the entire thing up with water. We thought this would inhibit his ability to pick it up. Boy were we wrong. This little guy put his legs into and grunted and took the water can to go water more flowers.

He sure does love to help!!!

Playing with my cousins

A few weeks ago Jim, Josh, and Emma came for an overnight visit. Teddy had so much fun playing with them. It is always a joy to watch Teddy play with family!
Emma and Josh were so sweet with him!

Playing ball with Uncle Jim

Watching a little TV in the morning

Wish they lived closer! Looking forward to seeing them again soon!

Kids in the neighborhood

Every time we go for a walk the neighborhood girls swarm to Teddy's "beep beep" to say hello. Most often Teddy goes into shy mode and just stares at them. This time I pulled him out of the car and let him walk around. One of the little girls said, "oh, I have never seen him walk before." the girls love saying hello and playing with his hair. They are little mother hens :-). They helped him collect rocks to drop in the drain at the end of the road!

Test

Teddy loves pasta and sauce. A true Galbraith!!!
