Fun around the house

I love this little guy and I love being his Mamma!!
He is so much fun right now, some of his favorite things to do...sing Happy Birthday - he just breaks into song whenever the mood strikes :-). When he wants to be held he says "holdmeholdmeholdme" all jumbled together and fast. There are so many sweet things he does I wish I could pause time to never forget them!!

Touch a Truck

Tonight we went to a neighboring town for Touch the Truck. Teddy is a little obsessed with trucks and boy did he love getting up close to them!!

Trip to Texas

We just got back from our first family trip to Texas. We had such a great time. My parents moved about 2 months ago and are getting settled in their new home. Teddy did great on the airplane, we had a rocky start as the reality of sitting on Mom and Dads lap for 3 1/2 hours set in. He eventually fell asleep and it was smooth flying. It was so great to see my family, especially my sister and her family. It had been way to long since we had seen them last. Ben has gotten so big and was so excited to see baby Teddy as he called him :-).

It was such a great trip, even though it was a short one. Miss my family a lot but I know there will be many more trips and good memories in our future!!

Celebration

It is funny how much life has changed. The other night Ted and I stayed up late talking about parenting, discipline, and raising our kids. We celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary this past Sunday. We had a wonderful day in York where we were married, except this year rather than going to the lighthouse and the York Harbor Inn we went to York Wild Animal Kingdom. We had such an amazing day together as a family. Lots of laughs and many memories :-). I am blessed with an amazing husband and family. I would not change a thing about our lives...I am one lucky girl!!

We then went over to go on the rides. I wasn't sure how Teddy would do on the rides because he is a little shy/nervous around new situations. He did great though. No longer my little baby :-( He went on every single ride that he was big enough for.

He fell asleep before we even left the parking lot. It was such a fun day celebrating our family.

4th of July

This year for the 4th we went to see the fireworks in Haverhill. Teddy's first time. We were across the river from the fireworks which was just perfect. Teddy ended up falling asleep. Some of the onlookers brought some fireworks to set off while we waited. Teddy did not like them at all and started to cry and say "home, home". Poor kiddo.



My brother and his kids came on the 4th and we had a great day with them. I truly love spending time with family.

A day at the beach

Our first official beach day was a hit!! I am still not sure that the work of going to the beach out ways the fun, BUT at the end of the day it was fun and great to watch Teddy enjoy the water and sand. It took a little bit for Teddy to warm up, but in the end he was running in and out of the water.

It was a fun day...hoping for many more this summer!!

Fathers day and goodbye

This past weekend we made our last visit to my parents home in Maine. It was bittersweet. We are so happy they are moving away from the cold winters and closer to my sister, but we will miss them terribly. There will be lots of trips to Texas in our future!
We also went to celebrate Fathers day and two of the most amazing men in my life. I have been blessed with a Father whom loves and supports me. He has been there for me each step of the way, providing wisdom and encouragement. I am so thankful that God chose him as my Father.












We also celebrated my husband, the Father of my children. When I met and fell in love with Ted I saw qualities in him that I thought were the markings of a great father. I have learned over the past 20 months that I was right! He is so kind and loving to our son. He has so much patience where I lack. I am so excited to see him with our daughter in a few months!













I am one lucky girl :-)
