Prayers

Tonight as we said our nightly prayers, we said Amen and Teddy stopped me and said Daddy. While we are praying we went through our normal list of people we pray for Teddy, Baby girl, Ben, and Ted added to keep Mommy safe. I then said Amen and Teddy said "daddy too". I asked him if he wanted to pray for Daddy and he said yes. What a sweet boy and such a moving moment....my little guy asking to pray for his Dad.

A weekend of animals

This weekend we went to two farms to see animals. Teddy loved it! The first one you aren't able to feed the animals, but that didn't stop Teddy, he still loved running through the barn looking at the animals. The 2nd farm - Smolack Farm was great. They had tons of different animals and feeding stations everywhere to feed them. They also had play structures to climb on and the biggest hit a hay ride. Teddy got to get up close to the tractor and loved it!









While on the hay ride Teddy kept saying "bumpy ride, hang on kids".









We will definitely be going back!! Next time Ted will come and we can get more pics with the animals :-)

Fun around the house

I love this little guy and I love being his Mamma!!
He is so much fun right now, some of his favorite things to do...sing Happy Birthday - he just breaks into song whenever the mood strikes :-). When he wants to be held he says "holdmeholdmeholdme" all jumbled together and fast. There are so many sweet things he does I wish I could pause time to never forget them!!

Touch a Truck

Tonight we went to a neighboring town for Touch the Truck. Teddy is a little obsessed with trucks and boy did he love getting up close to them!!

Trip to Texas

We just got back from our first family trip to Texas. We had such a great time. My parents moved about 2 months ago and are getting settled in their new home. Teddy did great on the airplane, we had a rocky start as the reality of sitting on Mom and Dads lap for 3 1/2 hours set in. He eventually fell asleep and it was smooth flying. It was so great to see my family, especially my sister and her family. It had been way to long since we had seen them last. Ben has gotten so big and was so excited to see baby Teddy as he called him :-).

It was such a great trip, even though it was a short one. Miss my family a lot but I know there will be many more trips and good memories in our future!!

Celebration

It is funny how much life has changed. The other night Ted and I stayed up late talking about parenting, discipline, and raising our kids. We celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary this past Sunday. We had a wonderful day in York where we were married, except this year rather than going to the lighthouse and the York Harbor Inn we went to York Wild Animal Kingdom. We had such an amazing day together as a family. Lots of laughs and many memories :-). I am blessed with an amazing husband and family. I would not change a thing about our lives...I am one lucky girl!!




















Teddy loved all the animals and especially enjoyed feeding the goats an the deer!!
We then went over to go on the rides. I wasn't sure how Teddy would do on the rides because he is a little shy/nervous around new situations. He did great though. No longer my little baby :-( He went on every single ride that he was big enough for.
